As a Travel Agent you have to provide travel information and make travel arrangements for all modes of transportation, accommodation and tours. As more than 50-60% of travel is booked with a travel agent depicts that an exciting career path is available to a candidate in this profile.


Wholesaler Sector

If one chooses to make a career in the Wholesaler Sector then you have to source product, negotiate rates and create the product for the travel agent to sell. For working in the wholesale the aspirant need to be specialists in their destination with good knowledge of geographical and cultural background.


Visitor Information sector:

For entering into the Visitor Information sector the aspirant has to look after the travel and tourism of a geographic region or area. The Visitor Information centre maintains regional tourism knowledge, relationships with tourism suppliers and participates in marketing activity that attracts visitors to its region.


Tour Operator:

Tour Operator is also a lucrative job in this industry as after graduating and having experience in this field the aspirant can package their own products and some specialize in certain areas like cruising, campervans or adventure tours.



For working in the cruising sector one has to offer packages from big luxury world voyages to small eco-cruises in remote areas. The job profile will include sourcing cruise products, negotiate rates and create cruising holidays usually through a travel agent or direct to the consumer.
